Terms & Condition

1. Scope of Services :

The law office of Jubair Ahmed . provides legal services in criminal defence, civil law, family law, business law, immigration law etc. The scope of services will be clearly defined in an engagement letter or retainer agreement signed by the client.

2. Engagement and Client Relationship :

• A client-lawyer relationship is established only after a written agreement is signed and any initial retainer payment is received.

• The firm reserves the right to decline representation if conflicts of interest or other ethical concerns arise.

3. Fees and Payment :

• Services are billed at flat fee, or contingency basis as agreed upon in the retainer agreement.

• The client is responsible for reimbursing out-of-pocket expenses incurred during representation (e.g., court filing fees, travel costs).

4. Confidentiality :

The law firm maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with professional ethics and applicable laws. However, disclosures required by law or with the client's consent may be made.

5. Communication :

• The firm will provide regular updates and respond to inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.

• Clients are encouraged to provide complete and truthful information to facilitate effective representation..

6. Termination of Services :

• Either party may terminate the lawyer-client relationship upon written notice.

• The firm may withdraw from representation for reasons including non-payment, failure to cooperate, or conflicts of interest.

7. Liability and Disclaimers :

• Legal outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

• The firm will not be held liable for delays or results caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g., court schedules, opposing counsel actions).

8. Dispute Resolution :

• Any disputes between the firm and the client will be resolved through mediation or arbitration.

• The governing law will be the laws of Bangladesh.

9. Updates to Terms :

The firm reserves the right to update these terms and conditions periodically. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
